# Credits System

Users can purchase API credits with crypto. These credits are used to access Heurist's decentralized AI compute resources, with different API endpoints consuming credits based on their computational requirements.

* 1 USD = 100 credits
* When paying with HEU tokens, users receive a 20% bonus (120 credits per \$1 equivalent)

### Credits Consumption

#### Heurist Mesh

Each agent on Heurist Mesh has multiple tools, and each tool has different pricing based on its resource consumption. Visit the [Mesh Console](https://mesh.heurist.ai/console) to view the agent card for detailed per-tool pricing.

#### Ask Heurist

Ask Heurist offers two query modes with different credit costs:

| Mode | Cost   |
| ---- | ------ |
| Fast | \$0.02 |
| Deep | \$0.10 |
